VictronConnect App
The starting point. VictronConnect connects directly to any Bluetooth-enabled Victron device — SmartSolar MPPT, SmartShunt, MultiPlus-II, Orion-Tr Smart — and gives you real-time data, configuration access, and firmware updates. No internet required. Works within Bluetooth range (approximately 10 metres).
Cerbo GX + GX Touch
The Cerbo GX is the communication hub of a full Victron system. It connects to every component via VE.Bus (MultiPlus), VE.Direct (MPPT, SmartShunt), and CAN bus (some battery BMS units), aggregating all data into a single dashboard.
The GX Touch 50 (5 inch) or GX Touch 70 (7 inch) screen mounts anywhere in the van — showing battery %, solar yield, AC consumption, and tank levels in real time. The GX Touch is optional — the Cerbo GX also connects to the VRM portal remotely without a screen.
VRM Portal — remote, free
The VRM (Victron Remote Monitoring) portal is a free web and app-based platform that stores historical data, shows real-time system status, allows remote configuration changes, and sends push notifications for alarms.
Connect the Cerbo GX to the internet via WiFi, ethernet, or 4G dongle — and you can monitor your van from anywhere in the world. Your dealer or installer can also access the system remotely to diagnose issues before they become problems.
